Request deletion of your PetQlix account and data
⚠️ Warning: This action cannot be undone
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data from our servers. Please review what will be deleted before proceeding.
What will be deleted:
- Your account and profile information
- All posts, photos, and videos you've shared
- Your comments, likes, and interactions
- Your pet profiles and pet data
- Saved preferences and settings
- All topic listings (adoption, breeding, lost & found)
- Story reactions and video shares
- Friend connections and friend requests
- All stored files (profile images, post media, story media)
What is preserved:
- Conversations — Your conversations are preserved for the other participant, but your name is replaced with "Deleted User" and your avatar is removed
- Moderation records — Any reports you submitted are anonymized for legal audit requirements
- Deletion audit record — A record of what was deleted is kept for GDPR compliance
How to Delete Your Account:
- In the app: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account
- You will be asked to verify your identity before deletion proceeds
- Deletion happens immediately — all data is removed in real-time
- Once deleted, this action cannot be undone
